Heavy
Equipment Operator:
3 years
minimum experience operating various heavy equipment utilized in the
work of road, site, and utility construction.
Laborer:
General
labor involved in tasks related to the construction of the road, site,
and utility projects.
Pipe layer:
Specialized
labor involved in the installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm
drainage installations. Must have knowledge of pipe laser systems and
their setup.
Lowboy
Driver:
Transport
heavy equipment to and from various project locations. Must have a Commercial
Drivers License with the required endorsements.
Grading
Foreman:
5 years
minimum experience involved in the work of road and site construction.
Must have working knowledge of plans and grade layout. Management
ability and communication skills a must.
Pipe
Foreman:
5 years
minimum experience installing underground utilities. Must have working
knowledge of plans and pipe grading as well as local municipal standards.
Newport News Water Works and Competent Person certification a definite
plus.
